AS-IF (Asperger Syndrome - Inclusion and Friendship)
In 2002 we began discussing a larger project with the education service at County Hall and the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. The Children's Fund agreed to fund a pilot scheme to run in the Colchester area. Named AS-IF (Asperger Syndrome - Inclusion and Friendship) this is currently in the planning stage and is due to run in the summer term. There will be one group of 8 children aged 11-13 and another of their parents which will run concurrently.
